Although we did not take the photo above, it is such a good photo of the area surrounding the clubhouse at Twisted Dune, we HAD to put it in. Twisted Dune Golf Club, located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey has been one of our favorite courses before we even started this blog. We played the course together back in the late fall/early winter. We knew that we would be coming back here as often as we could because the course is just that damn good. The only thing really missing from the links-style golf course is the ocean right off the dunes. Our Outing at Blue Heron Pines

Our Outing at Blue Heron Pines "Golf isn't supposed to be work. It's to have fun." - Moe Norman (Played on Friday, July 27th, 2018) The Sunday Golfers, plus Jaden. Blue Heron Pines is an 18 hole public golf course in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. It was formally a 36 hole golf club, but it has been whittled down to just 18 over the years. If you go onto Google Maps, you can still see the outlines of the forgotten holes. It is owned by Ron Jaworski's company, who also run golf courses like RiverWinds, Running Deer, etc. The outing we were invited to was run by our former high school's scholarship committee, who raise money to give scholarships to kids interested in going there. Former student, and NHL Hockey player Johnny Gaudreau uses his name to promote the event, and even gets other NHL celebrities to come play in select groups.
