Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, & Magnolia Golf Course "I play golf with friends sometimes, but they are never friendly games." - Ben Hogan While Chris Colman sat home in the rainy, windy, chilly state of New Jersey, Chris and Thomas Pusey went down to Florida on a family vacation for the week down in Orlando.  While they were down there, they decided to get in a couple of rounds around the resort they were staying at. Originally going into the trip, Chris and Thomas planned on only playing one or two Disney courses, but decided to call an audible and go to Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, which is not part of the Disney resort. - Lake Buena Vista Golf Course (Played on December 17th, 2018) Lake Buena Vista Golf Course in Orlando, Florida is a part of the Disney Resort.  Although we've never been big fans of golf courses that are intersected between housing developments, Lake Buena Vista is still a very good golf course.

A Year in Review! Happy 1 year Anniversary to The Sunday Golfers! The Sunday Golfers, plus our friend Jaden. We hope whoever is reading these reviews of the local courses in the greater Philadelphia area (and beyond) enjoys the content and continues checking in to every review we do. Everyone here hopes that we can get out a few more times before the real bad winter weather hits. A little insight into how our year was. Despite a lot of golf being played, and the on and off weather we have gotten, we generally stuck to a few of our local courses in the area, Beckett, Riverwinds, Merchantville etc. But considering it was a busy year for all of us, we consider that just getting out to play together is a good thing to be thankful for. Over the year, we developed a few opinions over our favorite courses we played, our favorite holes we played, and the top courses we'd like to hit within the next year. Colman's favorite course this year: Seaview (Bay) Golf Course.

The Sunday Golfers Fall Update "You must play boldly to win. " - Arnold Palmer (October 9th, 2018) The Sunday Golfers have been up to a lot for the past couple months, and unfortunately not a lot of it has been golfing together.  We have been golfing quite a bit, but we have had little time to actually get together in our usual Sunday morning group. Hopefully we will be back together again soon. We have a lot more courses we'd like to hit before the year ends, or it gets too cold. Although we have not played golf together for quite a while, we have all still been out playing whenever we can when it isn't raining. We have been lucky to have pretty warm weather even now into October. Also, back in September, Chris and Thomas went to the BMW Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. They were able to see Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, and plenty of other professionals at a golf course right in our area. Here are a few photos from the past couple months

Twisted Dune Golf Club "The amount of club twirls was absurd." - Chris Pusey (Played on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018) An aerial shot of Twisted Dune we did not take. Although we did not take the photo above, it is such a good photo of the area surrounding the clubhouse at Twisted Dune, we HAD to put it in. Twisted Dune Golf Club, located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey has been one of our favorite courses before we even started this blog. We played the course together back in the late fall/early winter. We knew that we would be coming back here as often as we could because the course is just that damn good. The only thing really missing from the links-style golf course is the ocean right off the dunes. The first tee at Twisted Dune Chris Pusey and Chris Colman teed off at Twisted Dune at 6:36 AM, paired up along two guys named Bob and Frank. We played off the white tees to keep the group moving at a decent pace, but we hope to come back soon and tip it o
